Widyane Hamdach

Dr. Widyane Hamdach is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and UN Programs Coordinator at Saint Peter's University. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Rutgers University's Division of Global Affairs, and a B.A. in Political Science from New Jersey State University. With over 10 years of teaching experience at Rutgers, her focus is on student-centered education and fostering engagement with diverse student populations.

Her career spans 17 years as a foreign affairs journalist, working as a Freelance Writer, TV Reporter/Correspondent, and TV Producer for major international outlets including Al Jazeera, Associated Press, The UN News and Media Division, and others, covering United Nations affairs and global news.

Dr. Hamdach’s research and professional interests intersect political science, global governance, and international media, leveraging her dual expertise in academia and journalism to address contemporary global challenges.
