Wesley Matthews

Wesley Matthews is a Sessional Teaching Fellow at Bond University's Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine. His research focuses on tendinopathy diagnosis, ultrasound imaging applications, and musculoskeletal pathology. He has contributed to studies on Achilles tendinopathy staging and tendon matrix analysis through systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

Education: Currently completing a Doctoral Thesis titled 'The role of ultrasound imaging in the diagnosis of Achilles tendinopathy' (expected 2024).

Research Interests: Combining clinical diagnosis, imaging techniques, and evidence-based approaches to improve tendon pathology management. Key areas include ultrasound criteria development, tendon matrix changes, and pain assessment in tendinopathy.
