Dr. Wes C. Moore is the Dean of the College of Fine Arts and an Assistant Professor of Voice at Dallas Baptist University. He holds a D.M.A. in Vocal Performance from the University of North Texas, along with degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Oklahoma Baptist University.

As a performer, Dr. Moore has received critical acclaim for his work in opera and oratorio, with notable roles in productions like La Traviata, Hansel & Gretel, and Le Nozze di Figaro. He has also performed major baritone roles in works such as Elijah, Haydn's Creation, and Brahms' A German Requiem.
Dr. Moore's expertise extends to 20th-century American art song and German lieder, and he has premiered new works including John Dribus's Life Cycle and Camilo Salazar's En Joselito. He frequently conducts lecture/recitals on modernism and postmodernism in art song performance.
His professional affiliations include the National Association of Teachers of Singing, College Music Society, and Phi Kappa Lambda. He has served on the Ethics Committee of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) and as a site visitor for NASM-accredited institutions.
At DBU, Dr. Moore teaches private voice lessons, advises undergraduate vocal performance majors, and oversees the administrative operations of the College of Fine Arts. His former students are pursuing or have completed graduate studies at institutions such as Manhattan School of Music, University of Southern California, and Southern Methodist University.
