Werner Henkel

Prof. Werner Henkel is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Jacobs University Bremen. He holds a Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.) from Technische Universität Darmstadt (1989), with research focused on coding theory, communications, and signal processing. His roles include chairing the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) program and serving as Dean for Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (2012–2014).
