Wenya Wang

Wenya Wang is a Visiting Scholar at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), affiliated with the Linhardt Research Labs and the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies. They joined Professor Robert Linhardt's group in July 2011 as part of a collaboration from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China.

• Ph.D. in Food Science and Nutritional Engineering (2001-2004), China Agricultural University

Research Interests

Wenya's research focuses on metabolic engineering, lignocellulose utilization, bioconversion processes, and environmental biotechnology. Their work bridges food science, nutritional engineering, and sustainable bioprocess development.
