Dr. Wendy Peters is an Adjunct Faculty member at Antioch University with a rich academic background in transpersonal psychology and Indigenous studies. Originally from Hawaii, she earned her PhD and MA in Psychology/Transpersonal Studies from Sofia University (formerly Institute of Transpersonal Psychology) and a B.S. in Electronics Management from Southern Illinois University.

Her research focuses on bio-psycho-social determinants of health for vulnerable populations, with particular emphasis on Indigenous women's experiences, intergenerational trauma, and culturally grounded mentoring models.
