Wendy Gold

Associate Professor Wendy Gold is a Level 3 supervisor and Laboratory Head of the Molecular Neurobiology Research Lab at Kids Research, The Children's Hospital at Westmead. She holds appointments at the University of Sydney's School of Medical Sciences, where she directs academic career development initiatives.

Research Focus: Her work bridges neurology, neuropathology, and pharmacology, utilizing cortical brain organoids to advance gene therapies for neurodevelopmental disorders. Collaborative efforts span clinical, computational, and fundamental science disciplines.
