Wendy Fick

Wendy Fick is a Researcher and Research Associate in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Iowa. With over 30 years of experience, she has supported multiple research labs and studies. Currently, she manages the Pediatric Audiology Lab's databases, oversees human subjects applications with the Institutional Review Board (IRB), and handles Data Use Agreement contracts. Additionally, she manages the lab’s research registry, which recruits volunteers for studies focused on improving understanding and treatment of pediatric hearing loss.

Her role emphasizes research administration, clinical data management, and compliance in audiology research. She is based at the Wendell Johnson Speech & Hearing Center in Iowa City, Iowa.
