Dr. Wendy Cohen is a Senior Knowledge Exchange Fellow at the University of Strathclyde's Department of Speech and Language Therapy within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds dual roles as Head of the Graduate School and Associate Dean (PGR) for Humanities and Social Sciences, overseeing postgraduate research student support. Her professional background includes clinical experience as a Speech and Language Therapist in the NHS and academia.
Education: PhD in Speech Motor Skills (Open University, 1999); BSc Hons (Queen Margaret University, 1993). Professional qualifications include Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Research focuses on paediatric voice disorders, genetic influences on communication disabilities, and clinical education innovation.
