Wenche Ann Similä is an Associate Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) within the Department of Community Medicine and Nursing. She holds a PhD in Medicine and Health Sciences (NTNU, 2022) and has extensive clinical experience as a pediatric nurse specialist at St. Olavs Hospital. Her research focuses on health-related quality of life in adolescents with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS/ME), educational adaptations for chronically ill students, and cross-sectoral collaboration in healthcare. She leads a work package on standardizing collaboration protocols for adolescents (16-18 years) with chronic fatigue.
