Wenbin Tang

Wenbin Tang serves as Chair of the Information Systems and Analytics Division and Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance at Shenandoah University's Business school. He holds a PhD in Financial Economics from the University of Mississippi, an MA in Economics from the same institution, a BA in International Business from Renmin University of China, and a BS in Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Beijing. His postdoctoral training in finance and accounting was completed at the University of Florida.

Teaching responsibilities include Managerial Accounting, Financial Management, and Investments and Portfolio Management. Research interests center on market microstructure, asset pricing, and corporate earnings management, with publications appearing in Global Finance Journal, Journal of Economics and Finance, and Journal of Accounting and Finance.
