Wen Feng

Wen Feng is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Sam Houston State University's College of Science & Engineering Technology. He holds a B.S. from Beijing Normal University (2012) and a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas (2018). His research focuses on existence/stability of waves and fluid dynamics.

He received the AMS-Simons Travel Grant (2022-2024) and Niagara University Summer Research Award (2023). His publications primarily explore magnetohydrodynamics (MHD), stability analysis in fluid systems, solitons, and nonlinear wave equations, with recent work emphasizing fractional dissipation effects in 2D MHD models.
