Dr. Wei Sun is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing, Wichita State University, within the College of Engineering. His research focuses on wireless and mobile computing systems, particularly in designing secure and innovative wireless communication and sensing solutions. He leads the Wireless and Mobile System (WIMOS) Research Group and actively seeks PhD and Master's students for research roles.
His work spans IoT security, vehicular networks, and human-centric sensing systems, with notable contributions to RFID-based sensing, adversarial detection in federated learning, and infrastructure-aware communication.
