Wei Ren is an Associate Professor in the Department of Natural Resources & the Environment at the University of Connecticut. Previously, he held positions as Associate Professor (2021-2022) and Assistant Professor (2015-2021) at the Department of Plant & Soil Sciences, University of Kentucky. His research focuses on Earth system interactions, integrating field observations, remote sensing, and numerical models to address climate-smart agriculture, carbon cycling, and sustainable resource management.
