Wayne Veck

Professor Wayne Veck is a faculty member in the Faculty of Education and the Arts at the University of Winchester. He holds the academic rank of Professor and serves as Pathway Leader for Education Studies (Special and Inclusive Education). He is Convener of the CREATE research centre and a member of the University of Sanctuary Network. His research focuses on inclusive education, disability studies, and refugee/migrant education. He has published in top journals like the International Journal of Inclusive Education and co-edited books on Hannah Arendt’s educational philosophy. Veck secured Erasmus+ funding for refugee education projects and organized global webinars on pandemic-era education. He received the HR Excellence in Research Award and collaborates internationally on forced migration and disability initiatives. His work emphasizes ethical dialogue, policy reform, and fostering inclusive school cultures.
