Wayne Tarrant is an Associate Professor of Mathematics and the Endowed Chair for Innovation in Science, Engineering, and Mathematics Education at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He holds a Visiting Associate Professor position at Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya. His academic journey includes degrees from the University of Georgia (PhD, 2002), Université Paris I (Master, 2009), Bielefeld Universität (MSc, 2009), and Indiana University (MA, 1998). His research focuses on financial mathematics, econometrics, and development economics, with recent emphasis on systemic risk, econophysics, and the Flat Tax revolution.
