Wayne Jocic

Wayne Jocic is an Associate Professor and Co-Director of Studies for Construction Law at Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne. As Associate Director of the Melbourne Centre for Commercial Law, he specializes in construction law, contract law, and commercial remedies.

Research and practice focus on:

• Construction contract analysis and drafting
• Infrastructure project development
• Commercial dispute resolution
• Remedies in construction contexts

Professional experience includes ten years as a consultant in Corrs Chambers Westgarth's major projects group and decade-long practice at Clayton Utz advising on national construction projects. Teaches Contracts and specialized construction law courses in the Melbourne JD and Melbourne Law Masters programs.
