Warren R. Zipfel

Warren R. Zipfel is an Associate Professor at the Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering, Cornell University. He directs the NIH-funded Developmental Resource for Biophysical Imaging and Optoelectronics (DRBIO), which pioneered multiphoton imaging. His lab focuses on biomedical imaging technologies, including nonlinear microscopy, endoscopy, and laparoscopy, with applications in cancer detection and collaborative studies using transgenic mouse models. He also develops optical instrumentation and bioanalytical methods for cell signaling research.
