Wangkun Xu

Dr. Wangkun Xu is a Research Fellow in the Control and Power Research Group at Imperial College London's Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Faculty of Engineering). He leads research on machine learning and optimization methodologies for robust power system operations within the UK-EPICS project (funded by EPSRC and The Leverhulme Trust). His work focuses on integrating data-driven techniques with physical system constraints to enhance grid resilience under high renewable penetration.
