Wanchun Liu

Dr Wanchun Liu is an ARC DECRA Fellow at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Sydney. She holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Australian National University (2017), with research focused on wireless networked control systems, AI-driven robotics, and next-generation communication technologies. Her work bridges control theory, communications, and computing, addressing critical challenges in Industrial IoT and cyber-physical systems.

Research Interests: Wireless Human-Machine Collaboration, networked control for IIoT, AI-based robotics, over-the-air computing, and splitting receiver design.

Recent Research Trends: Recent publications emphasize deep reinforcement learning applications in resource allocation and control systems, stability analysis under fading channels, and hardware-software co-design for next-gen communication systems. Her work often explores latency-reliability tradeoffs and hybrid control-communication architectures.
