Walter Gerrits

Walter Gerrits is a Professor of Animal Nutrition at Wageningen University & Research. His research focuses on optimizing feed formulation for livestock, particularly pigs, with an emphasis on digestibility, feed processing, and nutritional management. He actively supervises multiple PhD candidates and leads projects addressing animal health, emissions management, and sustainable feed solutions.
