Waldemar Andrzejewski

Prof. Waldemar Andrzejewski is a faculty member at the Academy of Physical Education in Wrocław, currently serving as Head of the Department of Massage and Physical Therapy within the Faculty of Physiotherapy. He has been affiliated with the institution since 1991, progressing from Assistant to Assistant Professor, and later earning a Professor title.

• Doctorate (1999) and postdoctoral degree (2015) in physical education from AWF Wrocław
• Leadership roles: Vice-Dean for Student Affairs (2005–2012), Head of Department of Cosmetology (2016–2020), and Senate/Budget Committee member

His research focuses on the physiological effects of massage, pressure sensitivity of soft tissues, tensegrity principles in therapy, connective tissue modulation, and physical interventions for musculoskeletal and internal organ dysfunctions. He also investigates physical therapy applications for stress urinary incontinence in women.

Teaching responsibilities include courses on massage techniques, rehabilitation programming, and tensegrity-based therapies for both undergraduate and Master's physiotherapy students.
