W.W.Y. Tan

W.W.Y. Tan is an Associate Professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planning, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. His work focuses on spatial planning, urban development, and social learning in co-creation processes. He has supervised PhD candidates in urban renewal and incremental development studies.

Key research interests include justice in urban policy, climate adaptation strategies, and the integration of technology (e.g., drones) in spatial analysis. He has contributed to over 29 peer-reviewed publications and actively participates in academic conferences, delivering keynote talks on topics like urban participation myths and sustainable mobility transitions.
