Vonda Rogers

Vonda Rogers is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of the District of Columbia Community College. A former Acting Director of Nursing (2019–2022), she specializes in simulation-based learning to enhance nursing students' self-confidence and education satisfaction. She also serves as a Peer Evaluator for the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and Vice President of Education for the Phoenix Rizing Toastmasters Club.

Research Interests: Rogers focuses on simulation-based pedagogy in nursing education, particularly its impact on clinical competency and student satisfaction in associate degree programs. Her work bridges technology integration and foundational nursing training.
