Vladislav Bonev is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Kinesitherapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Public Health, Health Care and Tourism at the National School of Public Health. He also serves as a Physiotherapist in the Intensive Care Unit at the Central Unit of UMHATEM 'N.I. Pirogov', focusing on functional recovery and mobilization plans for critically ill patients. His work integrates clinical practice with research in physiotherapy's role in critical care and neurological conditions.
Education includes a PhD in Public Health (Physiotherapy) (2022-2025), an MSc in Physiotherapy specializing in neurology and intensive care (2020-2022), and a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy (2016-2020) with international Erasmus+ exchanges in Estonia. His research explores the impact of physiotherapy on functional recovery in mechanically ventilated patients.
