Vivek Patel

Vivek Patel is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Hospital Medicine. He serves as Chief of Hospital Medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital and Chair of the Peer Review Oversight Committee at Parkland Hospital. Dr. Patel completed his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Texas A&M University, followed by medical degree and internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2010 and is board-certified in internal medicine.
