Vivek Beechar, M.D., M.Sc., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Member of its Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine. He specializes in transplant infectious diseases, particularly cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection management in solid organ transplant recipients. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in infectious diseases and internal medicine, he joined UT Southwestern's faculty in 2024.
