Vishalini Ramnath is a Lecturer and Assistant Director of the Computer Science and Software Engineering Undergraduate Programs at Auburn University's College of Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Florida, an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois-Springfield, and a B.Eng. in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Anna University, India. Her research focuses on computer science education innovation, machine learning applications in genomics, and hardware security.
She leads initiatives to expand artificial intelligence education across Alabama, including new AI-focused courses launching in Spring 2025. As an academic leader, she contributes to program development and student success strategies in undergraduate engineering education.
Affiliated with the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity Engineering, her work bridges theoretical research and practical educational advancements in computing disciplines.
