Virginie MUNIGLIA

Virginie MUNIGLIA is a Researcher and Teacher-Researcher at the EHESP School of Public Health, affiliated with the Department of Human and Social Sciences (SHS) and UMR 6051 ARENES. She currently serves as the Coordinator for the Chair of Research on Youth. Her roles include leading the Master's 2 program in Childhood, Youth: Policies and Support and teaching courses on social policies, youth, and qualitative research methods.

Her research focuses on vulnerable youth trajectories, public intervention methods, mental health, and social inequalities. Notable projects include REVERSEJ (2017-2018), analyzing residential independence among young adults, and HanPsyJe (2015-2017), examining mental disability in youth transitions, funded by DREES and IRESP, respectively. She received the 2016 Research Prize from the French Red Cross Social Bond Foundation for her thesis on social vulnerability among young adults.

Her work emphasizes social links, public policy effectiveness, and medico-social care systems. She co-manages the 'ages of life' project within UMR Arènes and explores themes like child welfare, integration, and precariousness.
