Virginia Stovin

Professor Virginia Stovin is a faculty member in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering at the University of Sheffield, specializing in Green Infrastructure for Stormwater Management. Her research focuses on integrating natural components like soils and plants into urban drainage systems to reduce flood risk and enhance water quality.

• Key Research Interests: Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), Green Infrastructure, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Evapotranspiration (ET) rates, and stormwater modeling.
