Virginia Stanard is Associate Professor of Architecture and Community Development at University of Detroit Mercy's School of Architecture & Community Development. She holds dual Master's degrees in Architecture and Urban Design from University of Michigan and a BS in Architecture from University of Virginia.
Her practice and research focus on equitable community development through urban design. She directs City Form Detroit, implementing projects that enhance neighborhood well-being through participatory design.
