Virginia Crisp is a Professor and Head of the Department of Culture, Media & Creative Industries at King's College London (KCL). She holds a PhD in Film Distribution from Goldsmiths, University of London (2012), and has held academic roles at Coventry and Middlesex Universities. Her work focuses on media distribution, copyright, and gatekeeping in both formal and informal contexts. She co-founded the Beside the Screen Network, fostering global collaborations between academics, artists, and industry professionals.
