Vincent Martin

Vincent Martin is a Professor at Concordia University with a Senior Research Chair in Biology. His research focuses on metabolic engineering and synthetic biology, particularly harnessing microbes as 'green factories' to convert carbon sources into valuable bioproducts. He is currently on sabbatical until June 30, 2025.

He has taught courses in Microbiology and Industrial/Environmental Biotechnology. His work spans functional genomics, microbial physiology, and innovative pathway engineering techniques like CRAPS and biosensor development.
