About
Vincent Godard is a Lecturer at the University of Paris 8 (Vincennes University – Saint-Denis), affiliated with the Department of Geography. He serves as Director of the UFR eriTES since 2023 and previously directed the Master of Geography program (2014-2020) and served on the University Scientific Council (2012-2016).

He examines rural-peri-urban interfaces, agricultural land, forests, and urban gardens across metropolitan influence zones in France and Europe using spatialized environmental data analysis.
Dr. Godard has supervised doctoral research on brucellosis surveillance in Algeria, dengue in Colombia, occupational health pathologies, photoperiodism of millets/sorghums in Mali, Lyme borreliosis in Sénart Forest, and urban agriculture in Burkina Faso. He coordinates the "Space, environment and health" theme at Maison des sciences de l'homme Paris Nord and served on the Scientific Council of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Pays de Fontainebleau (2007-2023).
