Dr. Vinayak Ramkumar is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Communications Engineering, Technical University of Munich (TUM), under Prof. Antonia Wachter-Zeh’s COD group. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tel Aviv University (2023–2024) and a Visiting Researcher at Washington University in St. Louis. He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science (2023) under Prof. P. Vijay Kumar.
His research focuses on Coded computation, Erasure codes for distributed storage, Information-theoretic privacy, Codes for low-latency streaming, and Quantum codes. Key contributions include explicit constructions of streaming codes and quantum locally recoverable codes.
