Vina Goghari

Vina Goghari is a Professor at the University of Toronto's Scarborough Campus (UTSC), where she leads the Clinical Neuroscience of Schizophrenia (CNS) Laboratory. Her research integrates neuroimaging, behavioural genetics, cognitive and affective experimental psychology, and clinical assessment methodologies to investigate severe psychopathology.

• Primary Focus: Biological bases of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other conditions with cognitive deficits.
• Secondary Focus: Understanding basic cognitive and affective processes in healthy populations.

Her work develops novel experimental tasks to probe neural circuits across clinical and non-clinical groups, emphasizing dysfunction in brain structure/function and behavior.
