Viktoria Roth is a Research Associate at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Conflict and Violence Research (IKG) within the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University. She is involved in multiple interdisciplinary research projects focused on radicalization processes, terrorism, and gender-based violence, including the DFG-funded 'Judging Terror' network and BMBF-funded initiatives.

Her research integrates sociology, criminology, and gender studies to examine violent radicalization, perpetrator identity, and media influences. She has held research positions since 2011, including roles in the DFG-funded X-Sonar project and the Federal Ministry-funded TARGET network.
Roth earned her Master of Arts in Sociology (2013) and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (2009) from Bielefeld University and Georg-August-University Göttingen, respectively. She co-founded the Research Network Radicalization and Prevention (FNRP) in 2016.
