Vijay Atluri

Vijay Atluri is a Distinguished Professor and Director of the Master of Information Technology and Analytics program at Rutgers Business School, affiliated with the Management Science & Information Systems (MSIS) Department. She serves as a research director for the Center for Information Management, Integration and Connectivity (CIMIC) at Rutgers University.

Her research focuses on developing automated security policies and advancing data management technologies, supported by over 150 publications in top-tier venues like IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing and ACM Transactions on Information Systems Security.

Her work has been funded by prominent agencies including NSF, DHS, DoD, NSA, ARO, NOAA, EPA, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Hackensack Meadowlands Development Commission, and SAP Research. She has supervised doctoral research, including Gunjan Batra (graduated October 2021).
