Victoria Waligo

Dr. Victoria Waligo is a Senior Lecturer in Tourism Management at Middlesex University's Faculty of Business & Law, where she directs the Tourism and Sales programmes. Her research examines sustainable tourism implementation frameworks with emphasis on multi-stakeholder engagement processes and social entrepreneurship models.

Her work analyzes how tourism enterprises create social value through community-centered approaches and investigates behavioral shifts in crisis contexts like the COVID-19 pandemic. Methodologically, she employs mixed-methods approaches to study governance structures and policy implementation.

Dr. Waligo teaches modules in Tourism Enterprise, Revenue Management, and Aviation Management while supervising postgraduate research. Prior to academia, she held management positions with Egyptair, Air Tanzania, and South African Airways, providing industry-informed perspectives on tourism operations.
