Dr. Victoria Roper is an Associate Professor at Northumbria University's Law Department, part of the Law and Business Faculty. She holds a LLB from the university (2002–2006) and transitioned from corporate solicitor practice at Ward Hadaway to academia. Her research focuses on corporate manslaughter and legal education, with a completed doctorate on corporate manslaughter and advisory roles for jurisdictions globally.
She currently serves as Interim-Chair of the Law Society of England and Wales' Education and Training Committee, Trustee of CLEO, and Senior Fellow of the HEA. Her external roles include external examining and organizing international legal education conferences. She leads Northumbria’s LEAPS research group and contributes to journals like the International Journal of Clinical Legal Education.
