Victoria Bates

Dr Victoria Bates is an Associate Professor in Modern Medical History within the Department of History (Historical Studies) at the University of Bristol. She holds a BA from the University of Nottingham and both an MA and PhD from the University of Exeter.

Her research centers on the social and cultural dimensions of medical history in the modern era, with emphasis on:
