Victoria Bartels

Victoria Bartels is a Research Fellow at the Department of Art and Media at Aalto University. She specializes in the cultural history of early modern Italy, with a focus on arms, armor, protective attire, and gender. Her current work involves the Refashioning the Renaissance project, utilizing Italian state archives.
