Victoria Abrahamyan is a postdoctoral researcher at the Maison d'Histoire of the University of Geneva since February 2024. She is currently working on an SNSF-funded project titled Mass Death, Science and Medicine: Handling the Corpses of War in Modern Europe (1850-1960).

Research Focus: Global and transnational history in Europe and the Middle East, with expertise in World Wars, violence, imperialism, colonialism, science, and knowledge production. Her current work explores intersections between war trauma, state formation, and cross-border dynamics.
Publications: Contributed to leading journals like Journal of Migration History and Contemporary Levant, alongside chapters in collective works. She is preparing her first monograph titled Pawns in a Great Game: Re-claiming Armenian Refugees in French Mandatory Syria, 1918-1946.
