Victor Aguiar

Victor Aguiar is Associate Professor and Christopher J. Grimes Faculty Fellow in the Department of Economics at the University of Western Ontario. His research develops microeconomic models of bounded rationality and stochastic choice in consumer behavior.

Research focuses:

• Theoretical foundations of stochastic choice models
• Revealed preference analysis
• Behavioral anomalies in consumer decisions
• Quantitative measures of bounded rationality

Recognized with Excellence in Refereeing from Review of Economic Studies and Top Cited Paper in Quantitative Economics. Currently on sabbatical (2022-23).
