Vibhash D. Sharma, M.D., is a Clinical Professor and Medical Director of the Neuromodulation Movement Disorders Clinic at UT Southwestern Medical Center's Department of Neurology. He joined UTSW in 2023 and serves as Clinical Lead for the Movement Disorders section. His clinical expertise includes managing Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, and other movement disorders, with specialization in botulinum toxin injections, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), and MR-guided focused ultrasound (MFgFUS) therapies. Dr. Sharma directs the Movement Disorders Fellowship Program and leads clinical research on neuromodulation and movement disorder phenomenology. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles, contributed to book chapters, and served as Principal Investigator or Co-investigator in multiple clinical trials. His training includes a neurology residency at UTSW, a Movement Disorders fellowship at Emory University under Mahlon DeLong, and a medical degree from Seth G.S Medical College in Mumbai.
