Veronika Weingärtner

Veronika Weingärtner is a sculptor and faculty member at Mainz University of Applied Sciences, leading the letterpress and intaglio printing workshop since 2015. She graduated from the Mainz Art Academy under Prof. Ullrich Hellmann and Martin Schwenk, later becoming a master student of Prof. Andrea Büttner (2016–2017).

Her artistic practice focuses on experimental printmaking techniques such as cyanography, monotype, aqua tinta, and screen printing. She integrates historical methods with overlaying grids and structures to create collages, often combined with video works and spatial installations. Her exhibitions include venues like Kunsthalle Darmstadt and Opelvillen Rüsselsheim.

Weingärtner operates her own studio at the wagon factory, producing works that reflect the complexity of everyday reality through pattern, form, and color.
