Veronika Azarova

Veronika Azarova is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, New Bulgarian University. She holds a PhD in cultural anthropology and teaches courses including POLS120 Culture, Religion, Society, POLS422 The Art of Negotiations, and POLS501 Cross-cultural Dialogue. Her research focuses on intercultural communication, political anthropology, and semiotics.

• Education: PhD in Cultural Anthropology (2000), Bachelor's in English Philology and Military Diplomacy

She is a member of the American Semiotic Society and the Bulgarian National Bank's Arts Council. She serves as Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Semiotic Society.
