Vera Rybko

Vera Rybko is an Assistant Professor and Deputy Director for Development at the Center for Molecular and Cellular Biology of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech). She also directs the Life Sciences master’s program at Skoltech and has held positions at the Cancer Research Center and the Skolkovo Foundation. Dr. Rybko specializes in oncology and biological sciences, focusing on cancer prevention and risk assessment.

• Education: PhD in Biological Sciences, specializing in oncology.

Her research interests bridge molecular and cellular biology with oncology, emphasizing innovative approaches to cancer prevention and personalized risk assessment. She actively contributes to educational initiatives, including organizing the Life Sciences Winter School and public lectures on cancer prevention.

As Deputy Director for Development, Dr. Rybko plays a key role in advancing the Bio Center's initiatives. Her work highlights the intersection of scientific discovery and practical applications in combating cancer, leveraging advancements in molecular biology and bioinformatics.
