Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy

Venkatesh Krishnamoorthy is an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he teaches Introduction to Data Science for the Science, Technology and International Affairs (STIA) program since Fall 2019. Concurrently, he works as an AI Engineer at The MITRE Corporation. Venkatesh holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and is pursuing a second Master’s in System Engineering with a specialization in Computational Intelligence.

His research and teaching focus on Data Science, Deep Learning & AI, Natural Language Processing, and Data Flow Management, with applied research interests in Conversational AI, Multi-Hop Question Answering, and Causal Inference. Venkatesh has over three decades of experience in technology portfolios and has dedicated significant career efforts to developing custom training materials and conducting technical education programs for diverse stakeholders.
