Velina Pandjarova

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Velina Pandjarova serves at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UASG) in Sofia, Bulgaria, as Head of the Department of History and Theory of Architecture and Head of the Center for Excellence "NASLEDSTVO BG". Her career integrates academic leadership with specialized research in architectural heritage preservation and interpretation.

Her educational qualifications include a Master of Architecture in "Preservation of Architectural Heritage" (2002) and a Doctorate in "Theory and History of Architecture" (2014), both obtained at UASG.

Prof. Pandjarova's research centers on architectural history and cultural heritage conservation, with emphasis on contemporary interventions in historical contexts. She investigates urban planning methodologies for heritage zones, adaptive reuse strategies, and interactive interpretation techniques for architectural spaces.
